For industry engagement at first I wanted to get in contact with my previous tutor Vytautas Puisys, he had helped develop my body mechanic animation skills and I thought he could help me with one of the animations I did for experimentation which is the charge attack punch but unfortunately he wasn't available for feedback and viewing which is totally understandable an animator is always busy with their projects and I as one I fully understand him.
Having no one to receive feedback from I approached my course leader tutor to ask if there was any contact with an animator within the animation industry that could help me with one of my animations. Thanks to this I manage to get in contact with an animator called Toby Winder but since he was a film animator I had to pick another animation that he could me improved further such as the animation I did for the AgoraCommunity last year 2023 back in October which was theme around spooky monster.
By successfully reaching to him I send him a syncsketch link to my work and awaited his feedback.
After receiving his feedback I went to check on the rig I used for this animation along with the texture I downloaded to make it look like a zombie but yet again another problem surfaced which was the rig corrupted, I wasn't able to animate further using his feedback, I tried redownloading the rig which was fine but the zombie texture where only exclusive to that months competition.
Having problems with that animation didn't stop from using his other comments on my work that could improved on my other animations for example he mentioned to place my own video recording next to the animation to give anyone looking at my work a better understanding of where the frames needs to be as well as keeping most of my animations short since I'm a shot animator the animations should be quick and snappy so I used that feedback on my FMP showing amazing results from my previous animations.
